Yellow bars = no change to your PSR
Green up arrow = increase in PSR
Red Down arrow = drop in PSR

'Preciate the bar breakdown. I know that PSR is based on actual performance, but I saw a couple different threads by pilots who had a significant change to their PSR after just one match. Since that was my own first one, post-bar, I really wasn't sure what to expect.
Oddly enough, I scored 1 kill and 400+ damage that round and got yellow bars for no change. I just finished a second round with just 200+ damage (got ambushed by a Dire in my un-Elited Victor

The match being a win or a loss has more to do with your PSR going up or down than your match score.
Win, and you barely need to do squat to go up.
Lose, and you have to do pretty well not to go down.

Ah, that explains it then.

On a more serious note, the amount of matches one played matters a lot. I have 3000 matches in the current records with a WLR of 1.2, thus T2. If I had played 4000 matches with 1.2 WLR, then I would be in T1.

They only go back to January, and I took so many breaks that I probably only have a couple hundred battles this year, including Community Warfare, which doesn't count.
(I did a pixel comparison in paint.. it visibly moves.)

Seems about right. I have 2100 Matches (sans Archive) and 1.14 WLR and am showing T3 (with bar 3/4 full).
Will have to keep an eye on future movement based on result, good or bad.

This does seem to be the case, but I had thought that Personal Skill in PSR meant that w/l didn't matter as much as my performance. So basically they just made another Elo system with lots of fancy numbers to disguise what is happening?

It's an equal sign.... you know, this -> =
Means your PSR stayed equal to what it was previously.

This performance on a loss made the PSR go up.

Thanks, I got it sorted now. When I saw the bars initially, I thought that maybe the system would incorporate a bar system like a single bar, double bars, and triple bars to indicate status. I figured it out after my second match though.

People keep saying this, and I'm not entirely sure it's true. W/L 3,814 / 3,486 and I'm at the high end of tier 4. Of course I have no idea how much of that is since January.
